i hate when people who dont have marfans make/headcanon characters with marfans as some quirky trait. i really do, i've seen it a lot in my life as someone who was diagnosed at 3 with the condition and it honestly grinds my gears they always do the most stereotype-y traits, or ignore how much of a struggle it is to live with marfans, or how marfans can fuck up your body further by just how much shit it causes.

to put it into perspective, i got tagged like a fucking animal at school because they didnt want to take too much care into explaining that i needed extra care if something happened, or that people should be gentle with me because i could die on school grounds. ive sat cooped up in my home most of my life, i've only been on a fair ride once because getting on a roller coaster could harm me as well. i need help walking or getting around because my body cant always handle it, i have other problems due to marfans that have hurt me greatly for my entire life.

i'm slowly going blind from marfans and theres nothing a doctor can do that will stick. i risk aortic dissection simply by being hit in the chest, i used to be afraid of going to bed because if anything hit my chest too hard i could literally fucking die then and there, because my heart would fucking collapse on itself and theres a decent chance that i wouldnt make it to the emergency room.

it's not just some trait, it is a disability. and it's not quirky!! it was never fucking quirky!!! getting discriminated against for being disabled by the age of 4 wasnt fun! it wasnt silly! it was traumatizing!!!!

if you're going to make a character or headcanon a character with marfans take into account how much of a stereotype you're making them. there are short people with marfans, fat people with marfans (like myself), poc with marfans, there are people who cannot walk or function because of marfans, people with marfans arent scary or shy or weak all the time. we're human people! we vary!

talk to actual people with marfans. look up posts about the condition from people with the condition. dont confuse marfans with EDS. just have common sense!! its exhausting trying to look at content from people like me and either seeing headcanons, EDS posts, or people telling everyone with marfans that they have no hope (this ones common on reddit, but it applies).

people with marfans dont immediately die either, btw. i saw a post recently that was just "haha this character better have had amazing doctors or his marfans would kill him in 2 seconds!!!" and that's not how it works. of course it can be fatal thats with all things, but dont act like its an immediate death sentence, please. i'm sure a lot of us have heard it enough already

When he arrived in Lisbon, he was met by his close friends: Max, Pietra, and, unexpectedly, Magui. Pietra had invited her. Lando, still trying to figure out how things had ended with her, hadn’t planned on seeing her again so soon. But there she was, sitting beside Max, flashing him a familiar smile.

It was awkward, but Lando pushed the feeling aside. This wasn’t supposed to be about her; this was his time to decompress after the stress of Monza. i’m gonna touch upon this in one of the filler chapters i have planned (i could be wrong but i believe that it’s the chapter after the next one). honestly, they’re kinda just winging it 💀 the main idea is to keep yuji/sukuna in his room, barricade the doors and windows, and keep anything sharp out of sight 😭

and every month it gets worse and worse, sukuna just gets stronger and stronger, and there have been multiple occasions he’s tried leaving the room to enter wider society. you can imagine what would probably happen if he did manage to escape 🌝

2. are we getting a nanami x miss b?

this isn’t even a spoiler atp, we are absolutely going to get a nanami x miss b endgame 😋 idrk how i’m gonna go about it, seeing as this story is in y/n / megumi’s pov’s, so it’s a little tricky there but… eh, we’ll see.

i saw this one thing on tt where it showed nanami looking at some painting, a man and his wife settling down together, and he is getting his happy ending in this verse (even if some of the other characters here do not) 🤨 and there seems to be only a small community of ppl who actually ship nanami and that baker lady from canon. it’s not a major factor to me, but i do just so happen to be one of them 👀

3. would you consider hinting at satoru and toji’s first ever meeting?

in a bonus scene, perhaps? if anyone’s that curious, but there is some lore behind it, so it probably wouldn’t be small enough to fit in one bonus scene. if you’d like, i could do a separate oneshot on it when i have some free time! 😗 i have some drafts on a lot of scenes (regarding characters in the story) outside of the story, so we’ll see!

I was thinking about your Ruins au and the thought about how confused Future Link must’ve been at seeing the Master Sword.

I can see it going three ways, depending on what Future Link did with the Master Sword after his adventure. A: Wasn’t the Master Sword having to be recharged? Did he accidentally drop it anywhere? Link was sure that he put it back in his pouch once it needed to recharge. B: Wait a damn minute! Didn’t Link put the sword back into the stone? Who was this guy? And/or C: no matter what he did with the sword, the guy with the “Master Sword” sure was doing everything he could to be like the hero Link, and he scoffs because *he* would never act like that.

You’re so right!! It would be really trippy for Future Link (still need a nickname for him 💔) to see this random guy has the Master Sword. They’re both def extremely sus of each other rn, they don’t know what the other one’s deal is at all, and yet…. they both also feel this strange connection to each other that neither can explain. It’s weird, and they’re still trying to figure each other out. I’m really excited to explore their dynamic in future chapters!! :)

long story short im just borrowing dnd logic with the distinctions between sorcerers/wizards/warlocks, just with an added twist. wizards are kinda similar to the tremere in vtm in which they use blood and other parts of their body to cast spells because they are not innately capable of using magic (i prommy it will make more sense when i explain the magic system 😭). but i realized i also wanted to add an Additional subclass of magic user who is someone who relies on items infused with magic to cast spells (like a spellcasting focus?) that they have to recharge. NOW my problem is that I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO CALL THESE PEOPLE SHFHDHFDHAHSSJSBD

it's kurjak's turn to be the weighted blanket. he's lazy, and jet lagged, and decker being in bed means it's easy to just... lurch onto the mattress and basically just drape himself on decker like someone poked a hole and him and he's deflating. tucks his face into decker's neck, too. he needs to recharge. 💔

The sound of Kurjak arriving did cause a light stir, of course. It was only the animals that raised their heads, though, and then decided against moving from the bed and merely waited. Decker, on the other hand, was familiar enough —comfortable enough— that the noise did not rouse him fully. He would know that it would take all of two minutes for his partner to have made his way to their bedroom that it would not matter if he got up. It would be the same as every other time that Kurjak got home while he was sleeping. Which was to climb into bed alongside Decker and their fur children and settle in for the night.

A soft, sleepy noise rumbled through his chest at the sensation of a familiar warm body sprawling on top of him.

Decker shifted under the additional weight. Not opening his eyes, though, even as he turned his head to gently nuzzle at the side of Kurjak's face. Content to fall back asleep to the sound of the other's heart beat.

in my free time, i'm doing one of two things. i'm either lazing around, playing genshin, texting/calling friends, scrolling through social media, watching masterchef (it's a guilty pleasure) or i'm attempting to finish up school work that i remember needs to be completed. most of the time, in the beginning of the day, i'll take a note of everything i have to do, and plan my free days according to that.

personality-wise, i'm an extroverted introvert!! (INFP-T) basically, i have the ability to get along well with people, start new conversations, and can pretty easily make new friends and keep in contact with them, but! my social battery eventually dies out once i feel like i've talked enough. when i reach that limit, i usually need time to myself before i can get back to my outgoing self. i also tend to be described as the hardworking, helpful, and happy friend :]

my favorite nation is liyue!! its history fascinates me and i don't think i'll ever get over the lantern rite events. my favorite element is also anemo, for no particular reason, i just know i like it haha

i have the tendency to pick up new hobbies, but suddenly drop them sometime later.

i tend to be self-conscious of myself, but not really in a bad way? like i like to be self aware of myself and how i might be perceived by others to ensure that i'm mentally healthy and good, if that makes sense haha!!

when it comes to romance, i prefer to become friends with the person i'm interested in to get to know them better before we start dating
